Default The 300K Club

So earlier this week my little beast (as it is affectionately known) ticked over the 300,000 km mark! This prompted me to start this thread to see how many other people out there are still rocking their pride and joy after so many kms.

It is a 99 GC8 wrx with its stock engine that hasn't been opened once!
The only mechanical changes to the engine being a TBE, lightened flywheel and resonator-ectomy (some suspension stuff as well but not relevant for this).
I am the second owner from new, and in the 7 years in my ownership it has seen ~a dozen track days/skidpans, a visit to the drags, another dozen or so cruises, and many visits to gravel tracks around the place; and to this day (touch wood) hasn't skipped a beat!
I keep it regularly serviced and also exhibit a good degree of mechanical sympathy, but have not shied away from driving it hard on the track (1.9s launches at the drags as proof!).

Anyway, long story short, after over half a decade and ~200K km of driving, I still love my beast and it still delivers a smile to my face on nearly every drive (I wouldn't mind some more power though! ).
So fingers crossed it can last a few more kms yet

Tom

360k here!
MY00 GC8. Original engine went at about 250k. Replacement is still going strong.
Been through plenty of gearboxes, fuel pump went about 30 or 40k ago. Everything else has held up pretty well.. and anyone that knows how much I've used it as a daily and a highly-used track hack will likely agree that it's done very well.
I'll let you know when I get to 400k

My v6 sti had clocked 200k... has not missed a beat. Still feels new.

Have a brand new stroker motor and dom 1.5 to go on in a few weeks though.

The ej motor is pretty reliable if maintained. I do 5k servicing. No excuses

My MY99 GC8 has 235,000 so 65,000 to 300,000 but it still feels good as new, the motor may have been rebuilt in the past though.

My commodore has around 300k. Odo shit itself at 250k though.
Rexy only only has half that and i hate seeing the clock tick over.

at first glance I thought this was a 300kph club
if this was the case it would be very short on membership
I know of at least 1 that could attain this speed...
its very lonely at the top
