Boys.. just to clear it up the dashed line is the y-axis on the right hand side... hence torque is bout 380Nm not 800Nm... i wish.

If you are going to the effort of fitting aftermarket parts, etc, why sell yourself short and not go for some form of re-tune at the same time to get the most out of your car?

You might see the glass as half-full, i see it as half empty without ecu/tune to match mods - you've invested $65K+ to date, why not got a bit further.

Image what the car would be like fully tuned @ 18psi, AFR @ 11.8.

Fred, he is waiting for the Autronic to come out, I think the point he is trying to make is that these things are relatively safe with minor mods, not optimised but not bad either.

OK - didn't realise that - Jase only mentions EBC to control over-boosting.

Yer Fred ive been talking to Al a fair bit about this topic lately so his full bottle.. or should i say full glass.. ;-)

I have been in contact with Autronic and am currently waiting on an ecu to be released for the 06. As Al did say this was only done to demonstrate that the car is indeed within a safe working limit without an ecu and minor mods. The only remedial measure that i am taking to provide a little more piece of mind is to fit a EBC to ensure that a sudden overboost wont cause any damage. The way i thought about it was that id prob invest in a 3 port solenoid once i put the ECU in anyways so why not spend a little extra now a get something that will see my through until that time i was to fit the ECU and will prob work better.

yeah my bad, read the graph wrong like a newb. Nice figured regardless, and as we always say, a dyno is a tool not the be-all and end-all of a cars performance. but i bet she goes 'ard

would be pretty cool to see the graph with rpm on the bottom isntead of road speed tho

Heres the other piece to the puzzle.

More then likely explains your AFR curve alot better too.

Because of the free flowing exhaust and other mods.. its pushed the LOAD points to run off the map.. thus your 10ish AFR area's.

You'll find that its now running richer then normal as you're operating outside the "viewable" control area for the ECU..

Have fun...
