I know its not a rex but thought id post it anyways.
Picked it up on tues.
VERY happy with it, MUCH MUCH nicer to drive than my 94 or the 00 wrx's i had.
Its a SS (not SS-V as i dont see the point in $8000 worth of gadgets). 6 speed manual, 6ltr and yes it swings out pretty easy. ESP is awsome and not very noticable. Mid range is awsome now too, feels so nice to not have to wait for boost.

IMO the only new commy that looks awesome is the GTS, that I would consider between an STi or GTS. All the rest very plain and average. Thats what you were after though (as you stated) so enjoy I am sure she goes like the clappers (after you reach 100kmph)

Yeah mate bought a VE GTS in the same silver about 4 weeks ago. My $$ just didnt stretch that far
I think tho alot of people would be surprised with the 0-100 in these with SS's pushing 1770kg. Take one for a test drive, you will be surprised!

I saw an R8 this arvo, and i have to say it looks like a fucking beast! Never thought i'd like a Holden, but it's very nice indeed.
