Default Suburu Radiator Cap Cover

I just want to know if 97 Suburu wrx's come with a cover thats goes over the radiator cap and the ends of the coolants hoses.

I took my car to get serviced today, got the car back to my house and the cover was gone, and im 100% sure it was there before i took it there.

I dont do any engine work to my car.

What caught my eye was the fact i could see metalic blue bolts and coolant stains on a tray where the cover was supposed to be.

Correct me if im wrong

Do you mean a cover that goes over the top of the radiator, and radiator support bar?

If so, then no they dont come with them.

That being said, service departments lose shit all the time....for example, the now defunct Total Subaru left my under tray off during some warranty work, and told me it must have fallen off when I was driving the car, and that they didnt have it...they wanted 300ish for a new one!!

After paying them a visit and "peeking" into their workshop, I saw it sitting in the corner on the floor.

Ha can beat that after taking my car in for a service in Darwin they left a screwdriver it the engine bay on the way home it fell out and went straight through one of my brand new Goodyear f1s they said it wasn't their fault and that i prob hit one already on the road until i showed them the Mangled Culprit with the mechanics name on it then it was all no worries we will replace the tyre
