Default MY00 GC8 WRX & Power FC

Hi all,

Have got my00 WRX gc8 tuned on power fc.

Mods are
Tbe
vf28
Fuel pump
PW tmic
Cai

At about 800-1000rpm there seems to be a flat spot on any gear - similar to that of a fuel cut. Tuner also can't seem to figure out the problem.

Has anyone had a similar issue or know how to rectify this?

Cheers

I'm in Perth so I can't comment on them, but are they Subaru specialist? Not just "yeah we do Subaru"....

Here in Perth, I think you would be pushed toward a dedicated Subaru tuner, one who does just Subaru.

Just one thing, are you sure its in that rev range? It seems quite low to actually notice a flat spot?

I wouldn't say a Subaru specialist, but I've seen Subies at the shop with other JDMs like Nissan's and Mitsubishi's.

Definitely in that rev range. If I don't take off with revs over 1k rpm I will notice the flat spot. Also when I am coming to a slow in second gear, say to go over speed bumps, if the revs go down below 1k and I am stepping on gas again I will notice the flat spot.

Tuner said he has added more fuel in that range, turned off o2 sensor, etc but cannot figure out what the issue is.
