Default Mud Flaps?

Hey guys,
Im having the problem of the front wheels (and to a lesser extent, rear wheels) of my car flickling up stones and they are hitting the bottom of the doors and chipping the paint, do any of you guys have this problem or is the rex supposed to have something on the car that prevents this? (like a mud flap) Im sure I dont need to tell you its not a good thing that the paint is being chipped away, not too happy about it either.

-Cheers

Yeah mine has done the same thing. Only way to prevent it is to get some mud flaps (which they dont come with standard)

umm.. I know this probably seems like a real stupid question to some of you, but until I bought this car, I knew nothing at all about cars, now Im trying my best to learn, so yeah...

I looked up a set of mudflaps, this was the description that went with it...
'Helps prevent stone and gravel damage to sill areas. Note: Mudflaps cannot be fitted in conjunction with the underbody spoiler and side skirts.'

cannot be fitted in conjunction with the underbody spoiler and side skirts hmm, now does that cover what I have on mine? Side Picture of car -Im refering to the black strip underneith the doors.

No thats fine, you dont have spoiler or side skirts apart from the factory standard items, so it should be no problems

Go to revolution race gear, they have lengths of rubbe which you can cut to size. that is if you dont mind the rally car mudflap look

i live next door to Mark [MBMotorsport] he has massive big red rally style ones on his 01bug. Looks awesome.. except its on street suspension atm so they drag on the ground... but im sure he knows of somewhere that makes them PM HIM.

i have installed flaps on mine... i have the templates, just a matter of me getting off me ass and buying the material and cutting it. Group buy ? i got my whole set from the UK for around 270bux... but hopefully could make it half that price ??
