Default can't decide!

I cannot decide whether to get a 2003 wrx with a few mods for 27500 or 2002 sti for 31000 standard, both have similar kms, dont know whether to splurge the extra cash, it'll be a real stretch to 31g and plus there is the big insrurance costs. Help me decide!!!

Sti will always be better if u wan go further mods wit it. But if u like the 2003 shape instead of a Bug eye, go for it. I personally will choose a 2003 wrx coz it is a newer shape

Not huge dif between wrx and Sti tho, let say u could save up for around $3500 for getting a 2003 wrx wit some mods, use the ress of money on a better turbo and a used ecu wit gd condition would be great. If the 2003 came wit an ecu is even better

Gd luck wit ur purchase.

Cheers,
Yeah

It depends what you want out of the car.

There is quite a large difference between the later model wrx and STi's IMO.

The 2002 STi is a much better base to start with (brembos, ej207, 6 speed etc) if you're going to modify, or if you're more interested in performance / motorsport over daily driving tasks. The STi's also generally have better resale.

Definitely the STI... If you dont like the bug eye look as much. There are some nice headlight mods available to dress up the front end anyway.

Best advice there. Also very cheap to mod if u want to push it a bit but not too much. Zorst, Tune (Verso), if u wanna spend a bit more, port and coat the turbo headers and dump. I'm looking at doing this with my new car, buy a great base platform and just throw a zorst on then crank up the boost .

The only reason i would see in not getting an sti is that u really want to mod the tits off the car, in which case u're better off go getting an RX, throwing in built engine, built gearbox etc etc.

Make sense too. I have seen some nice headlight for the bug eye and i reckon an eyelip for the bug eye is a must. It will be look sick enough

Wit some better brake system and better internal, u can make it pulling hard easily

But as wat i mentioned, it depends on ur needed.
