Ive got an 03 wrx with just some mild mods, TBE, fuel pump and ECUTEK 1.5 its putting out around 150kwatw. Just wandering if it would be worth an ecu change to verso or a later version of ECUTEK or whether the power gain would be negligible. Cheers.

You have Ecutek so it would be cheaper to get that tuned properly than changing to Verso.

I'd do a custom tune over what you have now. ECUTek 1.5 is just a generic map based on your mods.

do you think getting a custom tune will be worth the extra dollars, i mean is 150kwaw about all you can expect from the mods i have

A generic tune for one car may not be the same for another even if the mods are similar
I'm thinking longevity of the car, rather than the kw atw

Yep worth it for sure. If you dont gain any power which is unlikely, you will find your car will run alot smoother and the engine will last alot longer!

what about $$$ i know it varies from shop to shop but a custom tu8ne would be a few hours worth of labour wouldnt it ?

Verso tune, u will not look back. Far better than tek3.

Pick a tuner - then decide on the ecu. As for Verso being "far better than tek3" - yeah right!
