Have it checked out by a workshop who know what they are doing.

I've had no real noticeable oil usage from my MY01, no real issues with idle either (including modded injectors).
Been running stock boost for the last week now

MY02 is sweet, doesn't lose hardly any oil, always put top quality oil in her, change it ever 10,000 and have regular services.

Blows no smoke and has zero sign of engine trauma.

Cars are like women, TLC, care about them, respect them .. Do what they ask and you're sweet mate.

10,000km is a bit long for a turbo car.

^^ That's what i thought. I even used to change the oil on my Camry every 6000km. With the STi i change the motor oil every 4500-5000km. Only $120 each time and gives me peace of mind!

I know an owner of a black GC8 whos passed the 10 000km+ mark a few times throughout the oil changes in his car! Lazy Sod! Although Jim Hall was telling me 12500kms can be ok?

Rich, too soft mate. Get in them, thrash them, take them to heaven and back and then trade it in when something goes wrong
