Out of the suite of performance cars i have in my shed, my STi is the favourite My experience: EJ207 plus 6 speed box/tranny, a few other very minor changes (TBE + tune) and you have a car that will keep dishing out fun. Current bang for buck performance in my opinion

If you do buy one->check the width of the stock brembo rotors as they do wear like most things on a car. I had a cardiac when i measured mine with micrometers....

Bugeye STi = MY02, Version VIII....MY01 (VII) was not sold in Aust, though there are a few imports floating around. I loved the MY02 STi that I sold at the beginning of the year...was very quick and very well sorted and had success in motorsport events.
Bruce's car for sale on this website is a very good one and definitely worth a look....has pretty low k's from memory.

I had MY02 STI - great car but suggest you do the up-pipe at the same time as TBE unless you want burnt up bits of cat in your turbo.

No cat in up pipe of Aus-Spec MY02 STi's, so no need to touch it.
