Drove an auto wrx and it certainly had insta boost off the line if u just put the brake on and stalled it a little. For about $8000 you can have the fully built auto with steering wheel mounted up down manualised shifting and a 4000rpm stall for wheelspining launches with ease

Its the gearbox that the Rigoli's use. the $8000 one is good for ~500hp. for extra $2000 ish you get a better planetary gearset or something which takes more torque and then you can run an 8 second engine on it without problems. I priced it up with the auto place they use. I think its in melbourne. The auto shop has its own digital auto controller so you get nifty little digital up down buttons wireless on your steering wheel and the whole box is totally manualised. you can even switch the car into FWD for burnouts then back to 4wd with one button. Its the setup EVADE had.
