what would be needed to be done to make it pass pits in the current shell?

Fix motor

remove cage
chuck in some carpet and OEM seats and seat belts
OEM suspension

not so bad so far...

what else?

Brakes? Dash? not sure if they will pass as is?

How much for the dash?

Cage is gone, but speedo an dash lights are not working.

Rebuild in RA shell using VIN from some random ADM shell.

There is some body damage that would need to be fixed or halal spec dodgy bog. There is also things like some metal missing from the doors to make them lighter.

I am not certain but I think some of the brackets are gone that hold the rear seats in place. Either way it is a serious operation to get it over the pits.

IMHO:

Buy a rally reg RA.

Swap firewall out of GX and put into said RA.

Take over pits and pass.

Strip RA, prepare the shel properly, sell off surplus bits and put all the good bits in.

Profit?
