gc or gd?

Gc is simply that the sti one has one outlet instead of two.

Not sure about the gd shapes though

GD: WRX two outlets, STi one
Only other difference was in MY01/02 where WRX had an extra cat in the up pipe.

Doesn't the GD STi exhaust also have "STi" stamped into the muffler tip?

I got one too.

$2500.

In all seriousness though - I don't think they're all the same. Someone told me that the 2.5 STi has a slightly larger exhaust?

Fact or fiction though - I'm not sure?

Nah not this kind - this one is gold plated

Just incase people get worked up.... I was joking

STi gear is VERY expensive though - Genome Muffler alone, new is $1200 from Japan parts. The titanium variant of that is $2k+!!!

Just for the muffler!

STi exhausts come with a single tip muffler with STI stamped on the tip and have been stainless steel since the Version 6.

The 2.5 models do have slightly larger diameter piping and use a single tipped muffler in the WRX and STi
