Exclamation HELP Please

Went to the movies last night in garden city, and since it was packed, the best car bay that i could find was a spot where there was a wall on my left and a van on my right.

i was a bit suss of the van thinking that it looks like your typical soccer mums van with kids (kids that slam doors into other cars) so i took a photo of the vans number plate.

after the movie i come back and i have a scratch on the right rear door.

what can i do?

anything?

thanks

Get it painted..

It happens.

Not worth claiming or following up in my opinion

Good luck with that.

How can you prove it was them..

Could have been someone that walked past during the movie. Someone that parked there When they left. Fuck it could have even been a dog with abit of dirt in its tail.

Your word against theirs. More pain than its worth mate.

Sad to hear mate but as others have said.. it happens

Try some light grade cut and polish and buff it out.

depends on who your insured with. im an nderwriter and if you give the insurance company the details of the owners of the van and if the insurers can recover some cost from them your ncb wont be affected. it would be hard as there is no proof the owners of the van have done the damage. then you would also need to report it to the police.

depending on the scratch i would try get it fixed myself.

maybe call your insurer and ask some questions about the scenario. insurance companies all have different policies. who are you insured with?
