Default Just car experiences?

Tried a search on here and antilag, read a few threads regarding making claims with just cars being a bit of a hassle.

Anyone made a claim with them? I ask because thanks to verso/fmic etc etc RAC wont insure me anymore so looking at going with justcars - got an online quote of 1500.

Ive been reading about a few guys on here being with shannons but it seems you need to have a contact to get them to insure you?

I have never claimed with just car.
but found they have reasonable premiums, but stupidly high excess....

Shannons only insure people over 25 too, which makes me ineligable..

there are other companies, like Western QBE that "may" insure you, the G/f is on my policy and she is only 23 and i pay about $900 ( never had insurance before now ), she will have to pay a $500 age excess though.... do some more ringing around and get some more quotes....

i personally would never go just cars

DO NOT, whatever you do insure with them. Its really not worth it.

6 and a half months before I got my car back... it should have only taken 3 months. I also had to take it back I think 3 times, after I got it back after finding faults in the repairs... one of those times it went back for 3 days.

Here are my ever so long threads on it all

http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/mechanicals/15952-smash-repair-mechanical-assessor.html

http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/general-subaru-discussion/16088-finally-naming-shaming.html

EDIT: Just had a look at that guys experience, pretty similar to mine... I had the same gaps, but on driver side where the b piller is, the doors had gaps... they said it was normal... I didn't accept it... they then fixed it.

I had my subi insured with just car, i would never insure with them again, too expensive and they mysteriously started removing mod's from my insurance policy. When I questioned them about it they claimed their guidelines had changed. They never informed me.

Shannons arent too bad, had my car insured with them before I turned 25

Currently insured with HBF, excellent service, cheapest premiums so far and the best part, unlimited mods so long as they are informed and they are street legal
