speak to Jazzie here as she has a sweat B4 and knows a really good tuner! Also have a look at www.ozliberty.com for other B4 owners.

First thing to do with a B4 is a get a TBE, FMIC and a retune to get rid of the VOD. The VOD is a void of torque when the turbos are switching over from primary to secondary. The TBE is a must anyway. The FMIC helps to lessen the effects of the VOD by providing extra air volume for the engine during the turbo switch over. But the tune is the most crucial part and is necessary to almost get rid if the VOD.
Other than that. they are a good car and after the mods you can expect around 180kw ATW making the B4 and nice little sleeper. Its also the type of car that tends to fly under the radar when it comes to police and modifications. I thoroughly recommend them for anyone looking for something similar to a WRX but with a little luxury and a little less attention.

They do have fairly poor fuel economy stock. But that can easily be fixed with a retune, which is a good idea anyway to get rid of the VOD.

In actual fact, they have quite good fuel economy, I know this because I OWNED one for nearly a year! Country driving you can get over 600kms to a tank(60ish Litre tank) city driving you should be getting around 450kms with "reasonably" fuel efficient driving(read: not hammering it around every corner!) In terms of getting a retune done on the B4 in perth. Verso will do a full tune on the dyno as they do with the WRX's/Evo's whereas EcuTek can only offer you a Tek 2 tune which is not only more expensive, but it is a base map with a short street tune done on the road by your chosen tuner.(Tek 3 is not available in WA unless an MRT Rep is over here specially) I know which way I would be going! I guess Google doesnt know everything!
