you could probably fit anything into a mini, just mid mount it.

Great to see a fellow Ausmini-er on this site! I've been wondering how long it'd take you to post something up on here.

The moke's looking great! Saw it at the bmc day at manning park a few weeks back. I wanted to bring Candy (my purple clubman GT) along but time didn't allow it to happen.

As for putting an EJ20 in a mini, no chance of fitting it in a cooper, and, if you forget about a gearbox, it's still an impossibly tight fitin a clubman like mine (i've measured it all up)!! If your after mini engine conversions things like vtec, starlet gt or the toyota 4AGE engines are the way to go. Many have already been successfully transplanted.

Ciao Ray

( ala: Candy - on Ausmini )

There is a guy in NZ who is squeezing an EJ20 into a mini using a FWD transaxle,
but he's made a custom fibreglass front end 9" longer to fit the flat four.

Anything can be done, given enough time/money

Will be heading to drags as soon as I get it finished to see what it can do...
