Default Hi There... EJ20T LEONE, need I say more ;P

Hi all, I have just picked this EJ20T LEONE up and I'm after any info on it's history.

I have been a member of the forum previously as I had an RS Liberty Sedan and an GT Forrester Luxo spec a while ago and now I am back.

As far as I am aware it was built in Rockingham and was know to be driven daily around the South side Rocko/Mandurah areas.

It has an RS Liberty motor in it with the front crossmember modded to fit plus a fabricated gearbox mount for the Liberty 5 speed trans and also has an air to air interheater instead of the RS water to air jobbie. Has later model seats which look more WRX spec than Liberty, maybe even Legacy?? The bonnet has an RS skin and scoop tack welded and bogged over.

The wiring harness etc looks Liberty spec and the ECU has what looks like a KIT Motorsport Challenger sticker on it?

Any info would be appreciated as I'd like to see if I can get it running and find out exactly what was done to it.

I will also be looking for an Airflow Meter as it is missing and I'm guessing it's a green sticker version that I need?

As above, I used to own a reasonably modded RS Liberty a number of years ago so I'm looking forward to having a bit of a tinker with this.

Here are a couple of pics of the said beastie:

Cheers

Mitch

Ahh, that could be entirely possible... Any contact details for him?

Yep, seems so. Must have modded the driveshafts to suit the 5 speed RS box?..

Should be a bit of fun as long as I can get it going.

The back end is jacked up. There is another set of springs and shocks in the boot which are apparently lowered?..

Possibly but it would be pre 2002 as the two below where around then. I remember an x English rally guy that had a garage on Safety Bay road(closed down now) that was into his LEONE. Good luck finding the history.
