Enough ECUTek/Verso debates on these forums already kids... Don't need another!

Hold on to your stocker 17"s or sell them off and slap some nice 18"s on(Ultraleggera is win IMO)...

Difference in price for 17" and 18" tyres is bugger all...

The choice is yours mate, either one is fine so don't be pressured
into anything as verso vs ecutek is like ford vs Holden and 360 vs
PS3 there will always be different opinions.

Oh and welcome to the forums mate.

Agreed but slander is uncalled for without reasons behind it. Not saying there isnt reasons but what are they?

As with any new product, when Ecutek was first introduced it was a little cloak and dagger. That tied in with the fact it was 'peddled' via MRT who have a chequered history. Stigma lives on, but by today's standards the ecutek will do just as good of a job as verso, comes down to affordability and service/backup from your chosen workshop. In respect to ecutek, Maximum Motorsport and RaceTorque are your options.

Welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay.

I never slandered anything Russ.. I was careful with my choice of words! Maybe ask Jaron about his opinions on it?

Cool mate. Didnt mean to say you slandered them, just you seemed to insinuate that there was a problem with them. I think with Jarons example the trouble could have been caused by the long time he drove around with a 3" TBE and bleed valve maybe?

LOL... Pretty sure that would have caused a failure much sooner, but, speak to Jaron if you want clarification.

At the end of the day, the products are virtually identical, the difference is in the application and the tuning, and the cost!

But, I thought we weren't going to turn this into another ECUTek vs Verso thread?

How quick does it have to happen? Damage can manifest itself after a while. Not straight away. Also i have tried.

Its not. I love VERSO! I had it and it was sweet. Just that i hear all this negative (and i was also like that from reading stuff on here) and dont think its as open and shut as people make it out to be.
