Default New 2010 WRX sedan

Hi All,

My performace history moves from VW Polo Gti tuned to 152kw, 350nm
to Mazda 3 MPS 195kw, 380nm to 2010 WRX!! Yay!!
Finally I am all wheel drive and loving it. Although the WRX lacking in Torque compared with the 3 MPS I do find the WRX a much more "fun" and "sporty" drive and once tuned a torque monster.
I have just booked in at Maximum
Motorsport for the MRT Hot tuner Challenge kit suspension upgrade and will do the exhaust, tune and brakes later once I win Ozlotto
My big decision now tho is if to go for a lightweight 17" inch rim for slightly more performance or an 18" for a better look?
Have any WRX Perthians faced this dilemma 17" or 18"?
Cheers thanks in advance!!
Looking at Enkei NTM-03 or RPF-01 for 18" or Oz Ultraleggra for 17"

Definitely 18" to suit the GD guards IMO... 17"s just look a bit small for me!

All 3 styles will look the business!

Firstly welcome and congrats on your wrx.

As Jimmy said 18's suit the newer models better. You will pay a lot more for bigger wheels and tyres though.

Yeah 18's will fill the guards... I don't know much about the tune etc you mentioned from MMS, but hopefully that nets you the numbers you want! Get some pics up, the my10 sedans are great lookers!

Congrat's and Welcome!

Yeah the MMS tune is the Ecutek/MRT tune XB kit
approx 240kw (just under 200kw ATW) and 420nm (at the hubs) so I'll be damn happy with that.
Would anyone recommed some good rubber for 225/40/18...I actually think I can get away with 235/40/18 in the 2010 sedan?

Cheers again...great to be on board

do a search on here for ECUtek. Just saying!!

Depends what you want from your tyres... I had Yokohama 'S drives' on my STI, and I loved them.
