Nice car mate.
I'd get the PFC tuned or at least the factory tune checked by a tuner.
Jap fuel has a higher RON rating than what we get over here, and factory PFC tunes are made to suit this. The factory tune is known to be a fairly aggressive one (lots of timing and quite lean.)

+1 on the tune. I have no idea what tune is on it so would get it checked out.

Found the manual from that FAQ thanks.
I think I'll be fairly safe with it reset to factory. I put good fuel in and drive off boost pretty much all the time (it just aint worth flogging a stock car with a VF10 turbo!). It certainly isn't pinging.
Hoping to purchase a new motor in the next month or so, but doubt I'll be putting it in for a while after that as I'll do timing belt, oil seals, water pump etc. Also will have to put in a parallel fuel rail setup and possibly swap an RS manifold on depending what motor I get. Plus I'm leaving for Europe for 4 weeks in about 45 days' time so that will put things back a while too.
Wonder if it's worth trying a track day with the car in it's current form in the mean time

Hi Andrew, she's looking good mate. You'll have to take me for a spin when you put the new engine and rest of the goodies in mate. You'll have to post some pic's with the original scoop in as well mate it will look heaps better.Gaz

ps i can't wait till my GT is on the road.

got it from a guy who lives up in the hills. Not sure if he's on this forum but he's on the rslibertyclub.org one.
There are a few identical ones (same model and paint colour) knocking around in Perth but haven't seen too many. WaLibBoy now has one of them and I know of another done up with pretty high power that lives around Bullcreek. I also looked at one about 4 years ago that was forsale at A-part auto, it would have been sold to someone local.
