If your BOV is standard then your fine. If its aftermarket then u will have to change it back to standard or swap to a plumback BOV to get cleared

I've been told it is the standard one...... so what do I do? Do I need to get something in writing from Subaru?

hahah the fat grumpy dude at east perth was the one who said my car was 130.5db. Now this could be correct but that would mean to me that most of the PWRX peoples cars are pushing about 160db

I got done by the fat grumpy man at O'Conner.

Bent steering arm meant the car was too dangerous to drive and the extension was only for a week (it was BARELY BARELY bent)
No covers under bonnet vents (like you) - I suggest you source from a wrecker.
Blow off valve too loud (suprise suprise blow off valve was d/ced!). Try doing that - it helps a lot, i.e. rip off the vacumn line from the blow off valve so it doesnt open.
Filter loose. Emissions can next to filter loose.
Suspension too stiff.
Front bumper loose (?!?!?!?!?)
Numerous other petty shit.

I am curious as to where some legislation says BOV has to be SILENT. Surely it has to simply comply with 90 db yeah? Cause I've heard cars with stock bov's that arent completely silent.
