Hello, I have recently bought a 94 WRX hatchback, last Monday night I got stopped by the cops, for no reason might I add, and ended up with a bloody yellow sticker. I got my girlfriend to take the car over the pits today, surprise surprise it didn't pass! I ask what the hell is wrong with these people, just to give you an idea, a few of the reasons they failed it is: the rear seatbelts are twisted, the number plate isn't straight..... unreal!!

I hope someone can point me in the right direction, I need to find a piece of bonnet insulation, under one of the bonnet grills there is a piece missing (I also got failed on this), I can find one anywhere, and Subaru will only sell the whole thing for 140 bucks.

Welcome .... this will happen occassionally. Will become more frequent as the mods increase

Im interested to know what pits you went too??? Can only suggest that maybe one of the workshops can help you out with the insulation problem, also maybe help with fixing the few other problems they got you on. Then go to another pit and getting permits for any mods you have

I went to the East Perth pits, I just spoke to another friend, I believe the insulation (only one grill covered) is factory standard. The other main thing they pulled me up on is the blow off valve, they said it has to be silent..... is that possible, can you remove it for the sake of the pits??

Yeah when I went to East Perth, the guy rekons my head light globes were "green"...he had to look at them for about 5 minutes before he could work out that they were white!!!
