in all seriousness though, i've seen the odd near rear-end or close call on the cruises i've been to, and most are experienced drivers
so srs face, it's probably not the best idea to come down for this one, maybe just wait till you get on your p's, drive around till your comfortable by yourself and then come on a cruise the problem is, if you make a mistake, which is expected with a learner, the proximity of you to other cars is too close for your dad or friend to correct or warn you in time

INMHO it would be a poor judgmental decision by your parents, if they condone you driving on "L' plates during an enthusiasts gathering/event.
Don't be surprised, if you turn up driving on 'L's', that someone probably will tell you not to tag along. Wait until you get your P's, simple. You seem have be missing the subtle reminders to use proper spelling & grammar here & choosing to ignore them....Then how in attentive/ inattentive are you behind the wheel? We aren't 'being mean'.....We are being realistic. Clean up your spelling & grammar before a mod checks in & boots you, EVERYONE has been trying to point you in the right direction.
