Who are you getting to do the cage or is the bond one you are talking about a bolt in?

Either my father/co-driver will be welding in the bond roll cage.
got to assess the situation when i do more research, or worst case scenario we will acquire drawings from CAMS into what the designs need to be and start from scratch.
been speaking to my father and he seems alright to start from scratch now anyway. he has been a fabricator for over 25 years, and has constructed boats, works with titanium and has built a few roll bars in jet sprint boats in the past

If you are doing it yourself that rules out chrome moly. This is not an issue. You will need to talk to Shane (i cant think of his surname) who is the scrutineer from cams and he will point you in the right direction. There are some pretty stringent rules you have to follow in relation to where you can and cant weld etc.

Ill just be going for the mild-steel cage setup on this one, and I'll try and get in contact with that scrutineer somehow lol

thanks brendon

edit: Just looking at Bond Roll Bars site and they are an approved CAMS manufacturer aswell, so all compliance necessary for CAMS is followed
