Default Howdy (Peanut)

Hi all,

I've been a bit of a lurker here, but never introduced myself. Finally found some free time to give the ride a bit of a rinse after an exam today and thought I'd say hi.

Owned the car for just over a year, with it being fairly stock (save for a GFB Hybrid BOV).

Over the last year I've had a heavy duty clutch installed as well as a full Alpine system.

Last week I had a Butler exhuast fitted by Norm (loving it so far).

Not entirely sure what to do next (car novice here ), but will probably change state plates and look to find some fog light covers / splits and potentially a lip. Also thinking of de-oranging the headlights and contemplating removing the BOV.

Anyway here she is - 2005 WRX ClubSpec 08. Hope to learn a lot from you guys in the future!

Looks nice & clean. Welcome.

Next step could be a tune...get the full potential out of the new bits installed. Maybe even put in a few intake bits or bigger turbo first if you like.

Thanks all. Definitely thinking about a tune too. My servicing is done at a motec distributor, so might have to have a discussion with them in regards to that, seeing as the 100k service is almost due.

Get a tune ASAP. Boost comes on lower in the rev range, fuel economy improves and best of all torque goes crazy, no more downshift required for freeway overtaking manoeuvres. I miss my MY05. Great looking cars.

Love the Peanuts mate. Depends on what direction as far as performance, asthetics, handling etc you are after, my first mod with my ex-peanut was zorst and then lowered suspension. It sat neat on the road and handled like a dream. Enjoy
