Smile Hi everyone, new member...

Big cheerio to everyone... been referred to the forum by a friend and have been catching up on all the great info availavable.

I am a big fan of the XR6T and was looking to upgrade the family mobile, an MY00 RX. I test drove both a new 6MT XR6T and a NA 2.5i back to back and each car has great features but I was leaning towards the new liberty as the 1900kg's of the big falcon was acting as a deterrant.

So along comes a MY05 GT 5MT at the pickles auction. It was love at first sight and the rest as they say, is history . This means best of both worlds - room for 5, awd handling and reasonable power in a driver's car.

I will post some pics as soon as I get it on the road, car has some front cosmetic damage. I look forward to the cruises and catching up with members.

Alvaro

yep, it was me. Oh well, I'm glad the car belong to an enthusiast.

It will definitely be kicking around, better than ever after a few mods, now that warranty is not an issue....

I don't think the insurance company could write the car off with the damage it had, unless there's some dodgy business going on...

Nope, not a panel beater....

Shame I didn't post on the forum a week or so ago... It would've been good to get a quote from someone that knows their subarus. As is, I do have someone lined up who should do a decent job - really - all they have to do is replace the bent panel with new ones... how hard can it be

Thanks anyway, will keep you in mind if something unfortunate was to happen to the GT

Maybe.... maybe its my evil twin...

How are you Ramon? How is Amit going? I can't believe how far you've taken the Rex. It looks insane.

Now I now who to talk to about all things boxer!
