Default I'm new to this game

I've always loved Subaru since the legacy RS (Colin McRae) won the Rally of New Zealand in 1993, and then the Impreza won it in 1994. Since then I knew I had to have one at some stage of my life.

Now it's time to enjoy the subtle (and not so subtle) delights of my own WRX. I pick it up on wednesday or thursday. 2000 model completely standard 79,000km hatchwagon, a blank canvas so to speak. Bit more expensive than what I'd expect in NZ but hey, there are more jap imports there than anywhere in the world.

In Perth to stay now, Perth is a pretty good place to live. I do miss Km's of gravel roads and especially miss going around corners.

If you're thinking about giving me shit being a Kiwi, well go ahead...I'm use to it, I've been here a year.

Oi'm learning to spik Oztrayl yan, butt.

na seriously, I can't sleep because of my new toy coming on wednesday.

I look forward to reading and posting and going faster and faster.

Yeah, it's a Gurnard, pretty ugly but very tasty. I don't have any other pictures here at work. Should probably pull out the camera and do a bit of editing.

As for bringing over an STi, well I had to come to Australia to work so I could get one. Maybe next year when I go back over to live for a week...don't really know the ins and outs of personal import...someting to read up on.

I'm from Gisborne. In case no one knows where that is, it's on the east coast of the north Island. 6 hours south of Auckland and 6 hours north of Wellington. a final destination really, but the coast has heaps of fishing and surfing, and yes, lots of corners along that coast.
