My name is Daniel and I live down in Busselton. Im new to the forum and don't drive a WRX but I will be in the market for one as soon as I can sell my current car (2002 Pajero). Have always been a fan just never owned one!

My budget will be around $15,000. Have been looking around for a while and think I should be able to get something half decent for that price.. Just dont want anything with too many km's.

Just to get me around town, to work etc and the occasional cruise down south or to perth on weekends.

How many km's would you say is too many when purchasing a 2nd hand rex?

It's impossible to judge a cars condition on kms alone. Too many other factors need to be considered. In some cases, a high km car is a better buy than a low km car.
$15,000 will get you a very nice late model GC8 (99/00) or even an 01/02 bugeye.
As far as it just being a daily driver goes, my initial suggestion would be a bugeye. They are more "refined" than the GC's. The interior build quality is also somewhat better.

I have seen that thread thanks. Exactly the sort of thing i'm after and have made an inquiry. I doubt for the price it will be on the market long enough for me to sell my car but
