Default New to STi
G'day everyone,
This seems like a good place to introduce myself. Just bought an 08 STi and have been loving the hell out of it. Dr Rock pointed out that it has an aftermarket exhaust and some calls around revealed that MMS had fitted the exhaust and tuned it some time ago. Planning on taking it up there for a lookover by them to see what it's tuning looks like (I have a niggling feeling it may have been reverted to the stock tune at some point). Apart from that I havent got too many immediate plans to mess with it performance wise. Maybe a few small cosmetic changes. However, once the warranty is finished I plan to change out the engine with something that can punch a bit harder without fear of destroying infamous ringlands and such. I'll probably spend a great amount of time just lurking the forums and absorbing the tomes of useful and interesting information you guys have compiled here.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. The warranty doesnt end for 3 years so it may be a while before any serious work gets done on this car. Having said that I cannot deny that I may get excited some time between now and then and decide to start early.
