Welcome SupaFly.
A bug-eye from a Yaris is a good upgrade. For an ECU student I imagine the extra insurance cost over a year is more than the fuel cost.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys haha (And to: Wozzernux's, LOL! superfly cartoon ahahaha!!)

The problem/s:
umm well when i first got the car the battery went, and the front o2 sensor.. so now $600 later I'm facing a very strange problem..

If i drive the car normally the temp gauge will go into the red, But if i boost it - it will go straight back to the middle. That's the start of it.. I now have a funny sound when i hit boost, it's like a 'whooshing sound'..also when driving normally i hear a 'whining sound' (Also getting no where near as much of a kick as i used to) i've replaced the 90' bend from the turbo to the inter-cooler but with no avail.. Also just to complicate things more, before all this happened my A/C and heater worked fine, now if i drive the car normally they both don't work, but get this... when i boost they start working ?:-| then shortly after they'll stop again.

When i first got it it was very impressive but now it's just giving me the sh$ts eh! And to top it all off.. leaving work tonight and noticed some inconsiderate tard opened there door and put a nice dent in my front right panel...

Future Plans:
I've paid $500 extra and got a link 44's ecu with the car, it's sitting here ready to be put in and tuned, but after speaking to the dude at allstar he rekons i could just re-tune the stock one and IF it had been verso'd before it would only be $250 for a re-tune. (so if anyone is interested in a link44 ecu let me kno!! haha) (The previous owner said it had been tuned but then it was reset to try and fix a speedo error, -The speedo/rev's read 30k higher then they should! theres another thread about it on here somewhere)
Also intent to fix up the paint work, get the front scoop, lip and sideskirts all painted to match the car. I want to put on a STI Spoiler, and possibly some smoked rear lights. Apart from that i was thinking about a BOV, nothing in particular.. but i've been reading and some people don't really agree with putting one on?? But not really to sure eh.
Also apparenlty there is a electronic boost controller installed, although there is no interface in the car, theres a plug where it looked like it should be tho! haha.. also there is some defi gauge cabling tucked under the bonnet (Didnt come with any gauges tho!) So hopefully get the 3-gauge center-pod thingo and hook some up!
(Sorry i haven't got my own pic, but this is a pic of it from the for sale page!)
(I've seen that BUG'N'OUT WRX around and that looks awesome!! I want it to look something like that (Well the front :P)

Modifications:
Engine Mods:
Vf28 turbo
STI intercooler
Oil Cooler
Electronic boost controller
3" Turbo back exhaust system

Exterior:
STi springs & struts
Front Swaybar
DBA 5000 front rotors
18 inch roto rims Geforce - powdercoated black
running on maxxis va-v1 tyres (225x40x18)
Koji'd front headlights (standard lights with back blacked out)
Ultrex 03 STI style scoop (not painted)
Ultrex front lip

Sound system:
Alpine CDA 9883 CD player with iPod cable and bluetooth
Hertz ESK 165 6" front splits and rear 6" 2 way coaxil
2 Hertz 12" subwoofers in boot
Alpine MRP-F450 4 channel amp running speakers and
MRP-M650 mono to run the subs
Dynamat - throughout the boot, rear parcel shelf and front doors

Probably seems like the worst car out haha... but once i get everything sorted it'll be alright!! :P

Thanks Guys!!
Matt
