Exclamation New to the forum and looking to buy a Rex

G'day guys.

Im new to the forum and looking to purchase another rex after 5 years of driving the family car. I used to have a MY99 and I still love the old shape. Just need some advice on one Ive seen on car sales. Its a yellow 2000 SUBARU IMPREZA N MY00 WRX CLUB SPEC AWD EVO IV. Its got Style 2 Race stickers on it. See link

http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/private-results.aspx?Ntk=CarRego&Ntt=9258428&rego=9258428& D=9258428

It seems like a nice car but it has no service history or paperwork. Id say this car is known to some of you out there. Can you please give me some advice on it?

Cheers

Bunghead

I personally would go for something newer with less Km's :-) Definitely with a service history too.

A mate of mine had a look at this car couple of weeks back haven't heard anything back yet... end of the day you're buying a 10 year old car - 18k is pretty high imo regardless of mods

There's one for 16.5k with the same mods but the engine has been rebuilt with forged pistons(so km's travelled are pretty much irrelivant)

I test drove it myself and its a good car id go for that one over the physical abomination

Why is there no service history?
A car that only has 58,000km should be immaculate inside and out. There should be zero wear and tear on the carpet, steering wheel, driver's door trim and the seat should not have collapsed..........etc....

For that amount of money a GC8 should be nothing short of spectacular condition.
