Default my 05 STI

Hi to all,

Last Friday I bought my dream car "2005 WRX STI". I've been waiting for this moment since the first time I saw it. I think it was love at first sight and it is true. I am not Knowledgeable about this car and hopefully you can help me, if I encounter any problems.

I hope there will be more events coming next year and hoping to participate to all of it.

Congrats on being able to buy your dream car and welcome! Any mods?

There's lots to learn if you're able to navigate the search function

Nice car mate.

I doubt it's an 05 though. Hawk eyes are 06-07.

That makes it an 06 sti, no matter how you look at it, it's not an 05! Congrats on the buy!

Could be the same as mine, its a Dec 05 delivery date, but an MY06 model, as per tris7ans post.

To make life easy for parts call it an MY06, and not a 2005. A few differences, appart from bonnet and lights, the Sti has a different PCD for the wheels and brakes from the 2005 Sti, and its a 2.5 not a 2.0 engine.
