Default My First WRX - 2005

Hi everyone, ive been watching this site for a while now and though I would post a thread about my 2005 WRX which I bought about a month ago from another Perth WRX member. Im absolutely loving it at the moment and as I am only a young driver and dont have much money to spend on it mods will have to wait a while haha I think the first mod I will be doing to it is getting a set of Rota DTP's in the silver colour though. It has a HKS pod filter, and HKS cat-back exhaust, and a HKS BOV which vented to the atmosphere so I took it off because chances were i was going to get done for it and replaced it with the stock one. Let us know what you think guys, cheers.

Looks clean. Something bugs me about the exhaust. Can't put my finger on it...
Well done on changing back to the stock BOV and nice choice of rims. Make sure your first mod is a front lip

Thanks guys yeh the first time I saw the car in photos I though the exhaust cannon looked too big and odd, but in person I think it looks real nice. I would like a front lip for it but im not sure I really like the ultrex ones from what ive seen in photos, as they look a bit chunky, but I may be wrong. Does anybody know where I can get a front lip for a 05 WRX??

Welcome dude!

Most people do the fog light covers/ sti splitters/ front lip to "finish" the front...

I know its common as shit, but looks really good....

I got my lip from ultrex..

Yes Kid that was the plan to go fog light covers, side splitters, and front lip although alot of rexs have them it still looks tops :P thanks for the link tris7an and it is the Ultrex "V SPEC" front lip that i like over the normal "sti style" and will probably get as well. thanks for the input guys
