IF you could perhaps try and be a bit more specific/clear about what it is that you are particularly unhappy about with AJAYJAY's old car, people may be able to give you some more constructive responses...?

Saying that it doesn't perform, and I am presuming you are talking about power/torque, then what you need is a TD06 kit... Here is one conveniently for sale.

If, however, you are legitimately going to try and convince me or anyone that your old R33 4dr handles better than a GC8 STi... Then click here.
Jimmy, you just sometimes come across a little blunt with an underlining sarcastic tone... some may say this is one of those times

Unless the Skyline has a GTR badge or had 'thrice' what the car is worth put into the suspension department thy are never going to be able to out-handle a well set-up WRX (sways, anti-lift, springs/coils).

In fairness it may be hard to compare 2 cars that share pretty much bugger all DNA or design.

WRX = Handling
SKYLINE = Power

The difference is that you can put more HP into a WRX without spoiling the handling.

On the other hand, I know of a few Skylines that have to much HP for the set-up and have recently been de-tuned to suit their suspension capabilities.

I'll admit, sarcasm is an art that I like to dabble in, but in my defense, it's very hard to give a genuine answer to a question that really doesn't actually ask anything that can be answered?
Dan [GTI] likes this.

Oh really?

Could you name those examples?

So much one eyed blind faith in these parts.

There is NOTHING wrong with the Skyline platform - very tuneable, very capable.

I know several Skylines that make great power and still handle well - In fact Paul Cornes R33 GTST (rwd) has gone quicker at No Limits than pretty much every Subi I can think of bar Rob Parker-Hoares RS Lib

My old R32 had no issue keeping pace with WRX's through corners etc on the street.

The problem is people can and smash 450rwhp out of one, lower is so its has a bagillion degress of camber on the rear, then wonder why it simply spins the tyre that has 20% contact with the road. Then they equate that to handling, which it isnt. That is traction.

Magic1's R33 handles better 90% of WRX's ive been in/driven etc, and that makes 500ish hp.

The only out and out obvious advantage is off a standing start and I dont recall needing that to set a lap time.

A wood chuck would chuck as much wood as a wood chuck could chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood.
