Firstly, why exactly are you unhappy with it?
Handling? Power? Interior? Exterior? Sound system? It's hard to point you in the direction of possible mod's that may improve areas without knowing where it's lacking. |

^^
A version 6 is still a quick car by today's standards. With a tune it can be quicker still. What are the downfalls and what do you use the car for?

My guess is epically laggy down low.... ??
Why? Sounds to me like you have a FMIC (probably has eleventy billion metres of piping) and have not had a tune to accommodate said changes. YOU DONT NEED A FMIC UNLESS CHASING BIG NUMBERS Plan of attack? Buy a good TMIC either an 03,04,04 STI one, or a process west one. $400 for a STI TMIC or about $900 for a Brand new process west one with splitter etc Fit the Power FC Get a Walbro fuel pump ($120ish) Get it tuned (at say ASG for about $400) Total cost? less than 2K (plus you can sell the FMIC) Enjoy about 180 - 200kw at the wheel depending on how much boost you smash in. Not happy with the way it handles and performs, don't get me
Wrong very responsive but just something about it. I owned a r33 4 door prior and spent money on coilovers and the whole works basically everything ground up and wanted a change thought the wrx would be a good avenue but just miss the red I guess so tryna see what's out there to try change my mind ? What improvements I can make?? |

Any suspension mods on it at the moment?
Visit Mao at Evolution R (a vendor on here) give him about $1200 bucks, and you can do front and rear sway bars, anti lift kit, anti roll kit etc which will transfer the way your car handles (will out handle any r33 4 door by a mile). Add to this Coilovers (if you want to track it) or lowering springs (if its just street)
