Hey guys,

Been a while since posting on the forum - back then I was after a gc8. Well after a good few 4x4's I have found myself in possession of a nice bugeye. My02 2001 wrx in blue black. Just picked it up from another forum member for a great price.

Fixes have already started at work, just pulled out a pig of an indicator relay/buggered fix causing all kinds of problems and re flowing the clock in the dash to get it going again. The previous owner seemed to take good care of it with oil changes, etc however I just picked up some Mobil 1 & genuine subaru filter for it.

Booked it in with a mate for paint and dent removal in the week and other than a good clean and tidy up underneath it is looking pretty good.

Looks like from research ill have to change over the down pipe to something catless to prevent failure early so I guess that will be next on the cards, then the mandatory tune. Probably going to upgrade to the nice sti cluster if I can find a nice example. After this oil change and a bit of a play I think ill be taking it down to a decent workshop for a once over.

Does anyone know much more about the car before the last owner (sic-em-wrx) from the forums. To my understanding it has a v6 sti 5 speed and aftermarket up pipe. Not sure of history before that though.
