Hey all,

I've just purchased a 2009 DGM WRX with 27k's on the clock.

Never owned a WRX before and i'm upgrading from a TL Magna!

Pretty excited, should be picking it up before this weekend depending on when the finance clears in the dealer's bank account. Definitely going on a long drive this weekend

Anyway looking forward to getting to know the car and learning all I can from these forums.

Welcome to Perth-WRX!

I came from a 96 Camry CSI to a MY08 and later on a MY11, I can tell that you will enjoy the car.
Give it some time to get used to the dynamics and then have a look at improving what the stock car can offer.
Will be plenty of knowledge in this place that will be of use, should be able to find it using the search function quite easily.

Craig, if I had gotten a MY09 instead of the MY08 I most likely would still have it

I think the front is pretty hot but the rear... im hoping it'll grow on me!
The MY11's are almost identical from the outside as the MY09's aren't they?

Yeah i'm still not sure about the back. I contemplated getting a hatch but decided I'm a sedan man. I haven't really thought about mods yet. What do most people start with? exhaust?
