Default Hello Everyone

Hi guys I've been browsing these forums for a while and only recently began to post so I figured I should introduce myself.

I never really knew anything about Subaru's until I got my first car a year ago which was a 1996 RX Impreza. I have now caught the Subaru bug and am in love with them now. Im hoping to eventually get a peanut eye WRX but this won't be for awhile as im still on P plates and insurance would cost a fortune . So until then I decide I would do what i can to my car and start saving for a WRX.

I've been told its a waste of money to try and get power out of the RX so I've just been trying to improve the handling and make it look abit more acceptable.

When i bought it:

Welcome mate, nice sensible ride for a p plater, you're bang on the money so to speak, DO NOT spend money on your RX.

It'd be like spending money on an 08 hatch

Here we go again

But seriously welcome and nice looking RX. Now you are into the WRX game save you $$$ for a WRX/STI.
You can do a conversion with these but you may aswell get a newage WRX for the extra $$$ and effort.

Or if you can handle being a chick magnet get a MPS

Nah, some chick has already done that received alot of hate for it

JOKES, it's you money and your car, truth is we have all blown big money on our cars never to see it again... it's called owning a car and they are a hole in your wallet from start to finish.
Cat likes this.

What ever you decide to do, keep the appearance classy and clean. Last thing you need on P plates is unwanted Popo attention from crazy mods

Welcome mate.
Insurance can take all your cash for sure...save and buy your dream machine later.
Till then check all the info out on the forums

Welcome....

Keep it as is and start saving for the next car.

I like what you have done but keep the modding until you have something worthwhile.

My first new car I brought was a white 96 Impreza RX. Was 1 of 300 when they first released the RX model. Sold it about 13 years ago to a neighbour who still has it, so still see it now and then - oh the memories - yes cool story :-)

Welcome anyway. Looks nice and clean.
