May also recommend looking at getting some camber bolts, for the little bit of added adjustability.

I stopped reading at 19 x

You bought a WRX, why do you want to fuck the handling by putting 19 inches rims wrapped in elastic bands on there? What do each of those rims weigh?

I was under the impression that the recent models don't allow for rear camber bolts, only the front. Meaning the rear can only be adjusted to around -1? Could be wrong, but I'm sure that is what John @ Wheels World told me and why Kym sold a spare set a while back (because they couldn't be used on the rear).

My advice - fuck the rims, buy sways bars and party hard around corners.

I agree.

19's look out of place on a WRX to, they really are average size cars, made to be light, etc, and 19's just look too fckn big! 19's are more suited to Commodore, Falcon, etc.

Be carefull with trying to go for the "agressive look" if you're driving it on the street because it might just get you the "yellow sticker look" and that sucks balls.

The main reason I went 19s is I want to get larger callipers & rotors, the stock brakes suck & also going for a aggressive JDM look...

Exactly what brakes wont fit under a 17" appropriately offset rim?
Also, any brake upgrade you do do will be completely negated by the rotational inertia of massive heavy rims.
Not to mention the negative effects the rims will also have on acceleration and handling.

However, if you're just after "the JDM look", go for it...

Hmmm I dont know those exact brakes, however, I do know that a lot of very big AP and Alcon 6 piston setups fit fine under 17's.

a) as pointed out, the extra weight of huge rims and perhaps heavier tires will negate a brake upgrade
b) got sidewall?

The stock brakes are decent brakes and pull up fine. Upgrade the pads if you reckon the brakes suck. Unless you're doing regular track work or have increased your horsepower by a great deal (is it even tuned?) then a brake upgrade is pointless. Then again it looks like you're going the route of cosmetic wank factor.

If you want big rims, stretched tires, stupid camber and bling bling calipers, perhaps join this group - http://www.facebook.com/groups/subaruWA/
You will fit in nicely there.
