Hi Perth Wrx
Hi All,
Thought I would introduce myself as I have been on the forum for a couple of months and have found it to be useful therefore becoming a forum supporter immediately. I have a 2011 wrx which I bought from brand new. The car is pretty much stock except for the butler built tbe and ecutek tune. I have also put some front and rear whiteline sway bars which have made the car much more enjoyable to drive. Plans for the future include upgraded brake pads, process west cai and tmic, injectors, fuel pump and a bigger turbo ie gt pump. This is my daiy drive and therefore I want something pretty reliable with a bit more power but without the head aches of breaking things. Cheers Ivan |

If I were you I'd stick a set of good more aggressive pads in ( semi track pads) get some springs/coil overs fitted and go drive your car properly before worrying about a bigger turbo etc etc.
The new standard WRX is awesome and has enough power to get you into some trouble. Being able to scoot it through a corner just as quick will upset more people :-)

Updated Information
After some more research my original ecutek tune with butler exhaust produced Dyno 1 results. I was happy with the results at 184awkw but soon was wanting more plus was finding it difficult to stop.
In the next stage i upgraded the brake pads to EBC Red for the front brakes and EBC Green stuff for the back, some project mu brake fluid and red line oil in the gearbox and diff and the car was running better. Next was the Process West TMIC and CAI intake, Walbro Fuel Pump 255 and another ecutek tune produced Dyno 2 results 209awkw. Happier Now |

Out with the old and in with the new
Haven't posted anything for a while but the WRX 2011 is gone and has been replaced with the STI 2015. I have had it for about 6 weeks now and couldn't be happier, handles like a dream and has plenty of power and does not have the annoying drone that I had on the freeway everyday in the wrx. Modifications will come at a later date just waiting on some more r and d hoping to find something with performance but in stealth mode.
Will be interested in hearing from anyone that has done performance mods in the STI 2015 in Perth and what kind of results they have achieved. Cheers Ivan |

if memory serves me correct, I recognise those plates. Used to always see your old wrx around Bibra Lake area? (possibly around my work compound too? unsure of this)
I'm in a black MY11 hatch. Keen to see this up close
