Default New here! Spt boost gauge help!!

Hey guys new to this forum currently on to my second Rex first was a 03 sedan now 11 hatch, love these cars! Already have a question for you all, has anyone here installed the spt boost gauge? Just ordered one from the states and seen a install vid and I'm thinking I could run into some problems, any advice or help would be much appreciated!

why do you think you would run into problems? give us a reason?

looking at that video, if you get that harness then the install should seriously take you an hour if that...

Apparently there was an issue with the wiring of the harness or the SPT boost gauge and people were this on NASIOC, it was enough that Subaru pulled them from general sale for a while.

Not too sure if this fault has been rectified yet, they had no issues on 08-10 models, just 11+.

BlueAngelWRX has a few videos that are worthwhile bookmarking for future reference

Edit:
SPT Boost Gauge Back Light Failure for 2011 WRX

Old model should be H501SFG600, new model should H501SFG500.

I've watched the video and I'm pretty sure one plug from the harness goes to a rear demister I think and my car does not have that switch there please correct me if I'm wrong!
