Hi
Hi everyone
I'm new to the forum Bought a new Bugeye back in 2002 and loved it. Exhaust and ECUTEK was really happy with the car for 90,000kms Time came to flirt with a V35 Skyline for a few years but had a need for a 4 door so got a call from the Subaru dealer to see the newly released model as it rolled onto the showroom floor only an hour before. That was around 2007 from memory. Well long story short we were disappointed and walked away. Been driving Audi's ever since but prices are just crazy. Walk into a dealer and can't find anything for less than $90k that appeals. Time to look at alternatives. Decided to check out the MY15 WRX CVT (city runabout) Well the missus wasn't too keen to look at one but humoured me anyway. She went from they are so ugly to ooh that's nice in about 20 minutes. She went from being negative to looking at the positives which is what i was feeling too. So, it looks like a new WRX will be in our future very soon (just need some better wheels) I hope everyone will be patient as I ask newbie questions about exhausts and chipping Cheers Chris Last edited by Rage; 22-11-2014 at 09:42 PM. |

Welcome! The new model is really popular.
Exhaust and tune is pretty much the usual starting mod, use the search function to find more info.

OK , bit the bullet and bought the car today.
Been researching wheels and the concensus seems to be the ideal size as 18x9.5 with an offset of +38 fitted with 265x35-18 tyres. Rang Rota today and they recommended not going bigger than 8.5" wide +42 offset on the new model. Trouble is that I can't find any wheels I like in that sizing. Don't want to go to the expense of fitting new wheels to have it look under tyred or the other extreme of having a setup that rubs. Anyone offer recommendations and/or places locally for some wheels |

Anyone recommend a company in Aus that has stocks of wheels to suit?
Prefer Work/Enkei/Volk or similar but will look at other brands. Cheers |

Thanks Soksta
They do have a set of Enkei RPF1's..I like them but not sure if they're too old school for a new car. Sorely tempted though Opinions anyone? |
