yes, you will always need to modify the bumper

have u considered an 02+ Sti top mount? you can pick em up for around $500 and geting them to fit is not that much on top.

other wise there are plenty of half-decent b & p cooler kits for sale on ebay and they for ur model too

the MY95 manifold is angled and wont be easy to fit a TMIC from MY97 up to current shape easily.

i'm sure it can be done. Best to speak to carly (REXESS), she's tried to get a TMIC (custom) but ended up with a FMIC

Yes you have to mod the bumper with an APS FMIC...you dont have to chop the radiator support because it comes with a replacement one, but the bumper needs to be trimmed regardless.

Im getting my 95 wrx done with a FMIC, Hybrid Drift Spec Kit,
that ive had for age's just waiting for it to be fitted should be
finished next week some time?
gave the rex away this morning to get it fitted!!
allready missing the thing

hope fully it is a good improvement
