hi all. been wanting a wrx for a while, never seemed to have one come up when I was in the market for a car. tried the usual supra/skyline/300zx/V8 falcodoor stuff. love my old beetles aswell. anyways a 95 WRX came up at the right price (cheap) unlicensed and with a clacking noise in the engine. so I bought it. got a temporary permit and drove it the 50 ks from Albany to mt barker hoping it would make it.. it not only made it but by the time I got it home the noise had stopped. seems to be a dodgy lifter. so now the fun of fixing it for the pits begins. looks like I'll need a whole exhaust. new rocker cover gaskets a driver seatbelt as it isn't retracting the best and a steering wheel. the leather on the nardi is fingered.
