Default new user, not so new owner

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum so howdy all. I'm a hardcore lurker and i tend to just piggy bank on others questions to get the information i require, but I'm completely stumped with this one. I've searched for the service manual for an MY01 WRX for about 2 years now and the closest ice gotten is finding something the other day. That is the service manual for the impreza, but excludes the WRX. I need the manual pretty badly because i want to really do a few upgrades to my rex, but apart from that (and more importantly right now) i need to know how to remove the LH exhaust cam sprocket. I'm pretty damned sure it has a leaking pinion deal behind it and it's driving me nuts. Is only leaking a tiny bit, but is enough to do onto the catalytic converter and produce smoke when i come to a stop. Naturally is a bad look for any car to be smoking like that, but a performance car is even more embarrassing.

Anyway, that's why I've joined up here and i will try and be as social and talk s much as i can, but i will try and avoid the whole "help me help me I'm new" trend. I'll search through the forum, but if anyone can point me in the direction of a manual to suit this vehicle i would be GREATLY appreciative!

Thanks guys, talk to you soon

Did you have a look in the The Workshop Bookstand by any chance?

For example I did find this:
Impreza GDA / GDB Full Service Manual (2001-2003)

Hey Soksta

Thanks for the welcome mate.
Yes i did find that one on here too, actually. But I'd forgotten about it due to lack of sleep over the past few days. Thanks for reminding me, ill have a good look at it now. I'll also check out the workshop bookstand too. It looks like there some great info there!
