This must have seemed like a great idea after Friday afternoon drinks (maybe by about 2am?). Whoever signed off on this should have their commonwealth expenses credit card forcibly inserted in an appropriate bodily orifice.

I have a novated lease through the company I work for, the wife's Polo GTI.
If the current scheme were in place, we would not have entered into a novated lease, therefore not an increase in FBT but a decrease to NIL.

Futher, we probably would not have bought a new car. This is what has the car manufacturers in a panic. Never mind the companies who used to service the leasing industry - and their employees.

The issue is, its got nothing to do with who is the face of the party. One person does not make/decide/invent the policy!

90% of the public dont seem to realise this.

I don't know about that... Krudd seems to come up with some outrageous policies and I can't possibly believe that anyone else had any input into such rubbish.

EDIT: Despite who the leader of the Coalition is, not voting for them is going to continue to hurt everyone.

That is incorrect ... It was because of a pre-election promise made by the Liberal Party which they are hesitant to go change. Unlike - "They'll be no carbon tax under a government I lead ..."

I am aware that the position will change after the next election. Personally, I don't agree to more softening of our language and, as such, I don't agree to gay marriage but firmly believe in civil unions and equivalent rights.
