Motorkhana - Get into it!
As you may or may not know, Motorkhana is the sport of chucking your car around a small course at relatively low speeds. But the emphesis is on control and accuracy.
The WA Motorkhana State Championship has 5 rounds over the season. The dated for the 2012 round are TBA. The dates for 2011 were: Sunday, March 27 - Round 1 @ Tiger Kart Club Saturday, June 4 - Round 2 @ Albany Sunday, July 10 - Round 3 @ RAC (TBC) Sunday, August 21 - Round 4 @ RAC (TBC) Sunday, September 18 - Practice day @ RAC (TBC) Saturday October 1 - Australian Motorkhana Championship @ RAC Sunday October 2 - Round 5 @ RAC There is a 'practice/come-and-try' day at the beginning of the season. It is free for anyone has not done it before! For anyone wanting to see some results, courses, or just more information, head to: Motorkhana WA - main page If you are interested in competing, it's around $35 a crack. You need a CAMS licence, but a 'one day' Licence is around $25 I think. Not bad value.
