Had my iphone ready to go and all!

The look of concern on your face as your dad belted your car was priceless

Hi All,

Thanks to all the WRX drivers for turning out yesterday...the number took us a bit by surprise (as you could probably tell). Looks like we'll have to book both sides of RAC next time and have a few more tables for sign-on!!

Glad you all enjoyed yourselves and we hope to see you out at more Motorkhanas; I'm sure Alex and Liam will welcome more competition in Class E (4WD production cars).

In regards to photos. There was a photographer there (Tony Syson) and he's sure to have got photos of your car in action. He's a hobby photographer so hasn't the time/facilities to go through all the photos car by car. Perhaps Alex car arrange with him to provide all the WRX photos on a thumbdrive for a charity donation.

Regarding the "queue jumping". Traffic control is going to be high on the priority list for the next Come 'n' Try Day; parking space is limited on the pads, as is access, so it's important we get this sorted out.
As you know, up to 4 drivers can share the same car, so what might have been happening was a driver swap. It was suggested at the drivers briefing that the driver swap could occur at the test area. Btw competition numbers are issued at "normal" motorkhanas and they determine the running order and running out of order is not possible.

All the best,
Dave Elliott

Next year you guys need to be quicker at kicking out the idiots too. That black v8 VZ commodore that kept demolishing the track every run he did whilst trying to provide an epic smoke show got old really quickly. Watching him drive out of the test area like he was a hero with a big smile on his stupid face after knocking down most of the markers and having to have them reset everytime is farking annoying to watch for those who are actually trying (read: for those of us who can't do burnouts)

Yep, that too

It is a bit difficult to know whether these guys are:
1. trying too hard and loosing it
2. being an idiot
3. or just a crap driver

I think it was a combination of 2 & 3 in this case

I can understand trying to link it up and drift the whole thing, providing some entertainment.. try it once, if you can't get it (or anywhere near it) then don't try it again...

I heard one of the officials talking to this moron at one stage asking if he was going to try and miss the markers this time, and the knuckle dragger sounded like an absolute special kid when he replied that he was going to try his best. So I watched the run, 4 markers down... and as many mm off the rear tyres in rubber and smoke...
