Any crashes? Photos of said crashes? Why did they happen? Mechanical or driver error?

Decided to remove the wheels and put trees in their place.

How well does that old school Starion perform? God I always wanted one of them when I got my licence... pretty sure Australia never got the wide body either.

Murray Hynes and Steve did well, a team mate, as we were both looked after by Leigh Hynes.

He finished with problems, and really enjoyed the event.

Finally some time to post...having spent last night and today in bed fighting a horrible cold/flu!
Bruce and I had a great time, but the TSW curse struck on the morning of Day 2 when we discovered that the header tank on the radiator had split, so we parked the car.
Saturday was fantastic...the highlight was definitely Gloucester East and West....basically 15+ km pretty well flat out...glanced briefly at the speedo a couple of times to see it wound off the dial (jap spec 180 speedo) sitting on the pin to stop the needle starting at zero again. Hitting the big dip at top speed was interesting too...but the car stayed really stable.
The Manji town stage was a blast except for the final run where we couldn't see a thing into the sun. Kurandra was difficult heading directly into the sun then into the shade.... basically the whole stage pretty well runs west into the setting sun.
Overall the car was brilliant...the rear suspension changes we made worked well...it was just a pity about the radiator.
Big thanks to my navigator Bruce and service crew Chrispy and Neil Evans....and of course to the organisers and all the volunteers without whose help such events couldn't run.

Steve, when I saw you in your suit at the motel, I thought you were all good for day 2, and we were out, how things can change in 30 mins.
